All Pro Fitness Things, a commercial and home fitness equipment retailer, needed a complete overhaul to redesign its e-commerce experience. With ten manufacturer data sources and five thousand SKUs, Fitness Things brought Fulkrum on board to revamp their product information and maximize there customers digital shopping experience.

Built with a data-first strategy.

Fulkrum approached the website redevelopment with a data-first strategy. Our team collected and sanitized information from their ten manufacturers, carefully matching vendor information to custom internal SKUs. After manually associating the data from external sources, we reduced customer confusion by consolidating 5,000 unique product listings to 700 online listings by creating variable products for a clean browsing experience.

A completely rebranded dual-store experience.

To enhance Fitness Things’ ecommerce experience, we completely rebranded the online experience with a dual-store approach for commercial and home customers. This approach ensures each customer has a tailored experience that suits their unique needs. Fulkrum developed industry-specific landing pages for commercial clients that streamlined the purchasing process, ensuring businesses could easily find the equipment relevant to their industry. Fulkrum simplified operations through integrating with Fitness Thing’s ODOO ERP and CRM system. By connecting shopping cart requests to Fitness Thing’s internal system, appropriate leads are sent to sales personnel to produce actionable quotes and sales.

Our team went above and beyond to identify and correct source database redundancies and exclusions, exceeding their expectations. Working closely with their internal personnel, we meticulously inspected SKUs and cross-referenced catalogs to ensure accurate data. The result was a contemporary, fully optimized e-commerce platform that has prepared Fitness Things to serve gyms and fitness lovers’ equipment and maintenance needs. All Pro Fitness Things is now well-equipped for success with a revamped online shopping experience, a streamlined home and business purchase procedure, and integrated backend technology.
